The Getty

In early March 2000 I took a week long trip to LA and San Diego. Here are some pictures of the J. Paul Getty Center. If you've never been to it, the Getty Center is a very rich collection of art and antiquities located in the hills near LA. This location is new and is architecturally interesting. You should visit, but be sure to call ahead for parking reservations. Click on a picture to receive a larger, higher quality version. Enjoy -- Jim

The center and some its exterior architecture.
The garden area was quite nice. I only wish it was a bit more sunny when I visited.

The plants are much bigger than the skyscrapers here.
